Kentucky Family Guide Overview (1 Hr)

The Family Guide Overview is a session to provide educators and families a quick look into the Family Guide, how to use it and how children benefit when we work together toward the early education of our youngest citizens.

Director Apprenticeship Collaboration: State and National Organizations (1 hr)

Collaboration in any setting is important. In this session, participants will examine principles of collaboration and how to apply them to state and national agencies and organizations.

Director Apprenticeship: Identity & Anti-Bias (1 hr)

Participants will examine and discuss identity development using Erikson’s Identity Development theory. We will then reflect upon how our own development can affect how we view the world around us through a biased lens.

Director Apprenticeship: Ethics in Early Childhood (1 hr)

In this session, participants will reflect upon the NAEYC Code of Ethics, 5 general codes of ethics and how to incorporate a code of ethics into your program with staff and families.
