Objectives: - Review components of Approaches to Learning Standard - Identify activities and areas of planning around ATL - Apply ATL to ongoing assessment and planning

Family Child Care Rating Scale (FCCRS) Overview (1 hr)

Participants will learn about classroom and environment assessment using the FCCRS tool. We will investigate all aspects of the FCCRS tool and how to use it to improve the family child care environment.

Early Childhood Environmental rating scale (ECERS-3) overview (1 hr)

Participants will learn about classroom and environment assessment using the ECERS tool. We will investigate all aspects of the ECERS tool and how to use it to improve the family child care environment.

Infant-Toddler Rating Scale (ITERS) Overview (1 hr)

Participants will learn about classroom and environment assessment using the ITERS tool. We will investigate all aspects of the ITERS tool and how to use it to improve the Infant-Toddler classroom environment.

Planning with the Standards, Creative Expression: Birth to Three (1 hr)

Participants will dive into the Creative Expression standard with the idea of creating specific strategies for creative expression and transferring those strategies to regular lesson planning and ongoing assessment.
