Theory Series: Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory (1 hr)

In this installment of our theory series, we will examine Dr. Urie Bronfenbrenner and the Ecological Systems Theory. We will analyze the environmental forces that affect the development of the child and the impact on the family. Using Bronfenbrenner’s ideas, we will look at ways to incorporate them into our curriculum and planning.
