Administering the Brigance for Preschool(2 hrs)

Participants will learn how to administer the Brigance to Preschoolers Kentucky All STAR Domain: Screening and Assessment.

Orientation for Early Care and Education Professionals

This mandatory training focuses on Health, Safety, and Sanitation, Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse, and Recommended Practices. This session is required for all child care employees and must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.

Afterschool Basics 101 (1.5 hrs)

Working with school-age children can be challenging & teachers often need help on structuring your day, behavior management, & supervision. This course provides an introduction to all of those topics for new staff to afterschool care.

Special Needs Track: Handling Challenging Behaviors By Building Resiliency (2 hrs)

This training will cover an overview of behaviors, resiliency, and strategies to use in the classroom to assist with decreasing challenging behaviors.

Special Needs Track: Inclusive Physical Activities with Young Children with Disabilities (1 hr)

Learn to create environments that help young children with disabilities develop their movement skills in natural settings while playing with typical peers.

Special Needs Track: Sensory Integration in Early Childhood (1 hr)

What could Sensory Processing Disorder look like in the Early Childhood setting? Sensory Integration (SI) is the ability of the central nervous system to organize and process input from different sensory channels to perform purposeful activities.
