This course has been designed using extensive research and testing to improve mastery and retention over the long-term. Content is from the National Safety Council (NSC).

Helping Families Navigate Resources (2 hrs)

This training will go through a variety of resources with which early childhood educators can provide families whether they need assistance in regards to financial limitations, medical assistance, assistance with a disability, or community resources.

Professional Boundaries & Behaviors (2 hrs)

This session will look at the way child care professionals observe development and how they can change the way they view things.

Multiple Generations in the Classroom (2 hrs)

This workshop will look at the character traits of the four generations that currently work in the early childhood classroom, discuss what motivates those generations, and how they can work together as a team.

Active Listening Within a Leadership Role (1 hr)

Participants will examine the importance of active listening in order to further growth.

Building Trust (1 hr)

Participants will learn how to build trust with mentees in ways that create lifelong partnerships and learning opportunities.
