This course examines the role of communication in effective preschool classroom management.  Participants will learn what characteristics successful teachers share, using communication to convey respect to children, the link between communication and behavior, and ways to develop a child's communication skills.

  1. Identify how communication plays a role in classroom management
  2. Be able to recognize what skills are critical for young learners and how that plays a role in classroom management
