Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards: The Introduction to the Standards and Family Guides
Description: The purpose of the Early Childhood Standards is to provide educators with a guide to preparing children for success in school, starting in infancy through four-year-olds. After taking this Introduction to the Standards and Family Guides session, participants will be able to describe the revisions to Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards, explain the purpose of the Standards and how they should be implemented, navigate the online Early Childhood Standards and companion Family Guides, and identify the alignment of the developmental continuum of the Standards.
