Description:  Ethical Codes of Conduct in Early Childhood are essential to a healthy program. In this session, participants will reflect upon the NAEYC Code of Ethics, 5 general codes of ethics and how to incorporate a code of ethics into your program with staff and families.

• Explain why ethics are important
• Identify ethical practices
• Discuss examples of ethical issues
• List the 5 codes of ethics
• Answer how a code of ethics can be instituted
