The fastest growing homeless population in the United States are families with children under the age of 6. Child care educators are in a unique position to work with these families.  During this training, we discuss how to identify and support these families in the classroom.  Participants will learn more about what homelessness looks like, learn strategies to help identify children and families who may be facing homelessness, understand how to support families in the classroom during unfortunate times.
