Toilet training any child can be very challenging, but toilet training a child with disabilities can feel completely overwhelming. This training will focus on the challenges of toilet training a child with disabilities like autism. It will also provide strategies that can be used in the classroom and at home in order to help children be successful with toileting. Participants will: identify the barriers to toilet training a child with disabilities; and identify strategies to help a child with a disability to successfully use the toilet with little to no assistance.
