Participants will learn about professionalism in general terms and then become familiar with professionalism in the early childhood field. We will analyze the five key elements as provided by Developmentally Appropriate Practice text and reflect upon our values and mission as a professional in ECE.
Objectives:
1. Define professionalism in general terms.
2. Describe professionalism using the 6th core area of practice as listed in the Developmentally Appropriate Practice book.
3. Measure your values as an early childhood professional.
