Course Information:

In this, the beginning session of a series on DAP, we will provide an overview of the Developmentally Appropriate Practice book. Participants will study its history, its impact on our field, as well as a macro view of the components and principles within.

Objectives:

  • Study the history of the publication.
  • Examine its importance to the early childhood field.
  • Analyze the components of the book.
  • Prepare to use the principles.
