Course Information:

In this session, we cover Chapter 2 of Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Participants will study the 9 Principles of Practice, gain an understanding of how to integrate these principles within their classroom environment and planning process. Teachers will also take some time to use the principles to understand their own values and intentions within their early childhood classrooms.

  • Examine the nine principles of child development and learning.
  • Identify and describe how the principles and the latest research affect classroom practice and planning.
