Conflict resolution skills are a necessity for afterschool teachers.  This course will help equip school-age teachers with conflict resolution skills that can diffuse any situation.  During this course, teachers will learn:

• The main causes of conflict
• Styles of conflict resolution
• The skills teachers need to aid in conflict resolution
• Their role in conflict resolution
• Positive guidance strategies
• Ways to teach school-age children basic conflict resolution skills to resolve conflicts on their own
